Job summary

Banyan Tree Dubai is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet luxury brand standards. You will lead room attendants, conduct inspections, and ensure timely room readiness for arrivals.

You will supervise staff, provide on‑the‑job training, monitor quality and safety standards, manage inventory, and respond to guest requests with discretion to maintain an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in housekeeping, including supervisory experience in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong understanding of housekeeping operations and room standards.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
• Experience with hotel PMS systems is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure they meet luxury brand standards.
• Report and follow up on maintenance issues and defects.
• Supervise and coordinate room attendants and housekeeping attendants during shifts.
• Allocate rooms and tasks efficiently based on operational needs.
• Provide on‑the‑job training, coaching, and support to team members.
• Monitor performance, grooming, and adherence to SOPs.
• Conduct daily briefings and communicate priorities clearly.
• Respond promptly to guest requests related to housekeeping services.
• Ensure special requests are delivered accurately and discreetly.
• Maintain safe working practices across all housekeeping operations.
