Job summary

Banyan Tree Dubai is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to uphold luxury standards in guest rooms and suites. You will clean, refresh, and prepare spaces, ensuring immaculate presentation and privacy for every guest.

You will follow brand SOPs, report issues, and support the housekeeping team to maintain the hotel’s exceptional level of service and guest comfort in a vibrant, beachfront setting. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced luxury

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel or resort preferred.
• Understanding of cleaning standards and procedures is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a physically active role.
• Basic communication skills in English preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, guest-focused, reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Room Cleaning & Preparation: Clean, service, and maintain guest rooms and suites according to brand standards.
• Guest Service: Respond to guest requests and provide additional amenities as required.
• Public Area Support: Assist with cleaning and maintenance of corridors and back-of-house spaces.
• Turn-down Service: Provide evening turn-down and refresh rooms as needed.
• Health, Safety & Hygiene: Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Quality & Standards: Ensure rooms meet luxury cleanliness standards and report issues.

Role Overview

As a Room Attendant at Banyan Tree Dubai, you are responsible for ensuring guest rooms and suites are cleaned, maintained, and presented to the highest luxury standards. You play a key role in creating a welcoming, comfortable, and immaculate environment for every guest.

You will deliver consistent attention to detail, discretion, and service excellence in line with the Banyan Tree brand.

Key Responsibilities

Room Cleaning & Preparation

• Clean, service, and maintain guest rooms and suites according to brand standards.
• Make beds, change linens, and ensure rooms are fully refreshed.
• Clean bathrooms, replenish amenities, and ensure all surfaces are spotless.
• Ensure rooms are well-presented, tidy, and ready for guest arrival or return.

Guest Service

• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests.
• Provide additional amenities or items as required.
• Respect guest privacy and always maintain discretion.
• Report any guest concerns or unusual observations to supervisors.

Public Area Support (as required)

• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of corridors, service areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Support housekeeping team in maintaining overall hotel cleanliness standards.

Turn-down Service

• Provide evening turndown service where required.
• Ensure rooms are refreshed, lights adjusted, and amenities prepared for guest comfort.

Health, Safety & Hygiene

• Follow all housekeeping hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly and safely.
• Ensure proper handling of guest belongings and Lost & Found procedures.
• Maintain clean and organised housekeeping trolleys and storage areas.

Quality & Standards

• Ensure all rooms meet luxury cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Report maintenance issues or defects promptly.
• Follow SOPs and daily cleaning schedules accurately.
