Job summary

Park Hyatt Dubai is seeking an Assistant Manager - Housekeeping to lead daily operations, ensuring rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces meet luxury standards. You will supervise, train, and develop team members while coordinating with Front Office, Engineering, and Laundry to ensure impeccable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related discipline.
• 4–5 years of relevant housekeeping experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role within luxury hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, inspections, linen management, inventory, safety, and chemical handling.
• Proven leadership in supervising teams with scheduling and development responsibilities.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, communication, and guest-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Coordinate room assignments, cleaning priorities, and staff deployment by occupancy and VIP needs.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and timely room readiness.
• Lead, train, and develop Housekeeping Team Leaders and attendants to maintain service standards.
• Monitor occupancy, staffing, productivity, and costs; report trends and improvements.
• Collaborate closely with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, Security and other departments.
• Ensure VIP rooms and personalized guest preferences are prepared accurately and on time.
• Address guest requests professionally with prompt service recovery when needed.
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and security compliance; manage inventories and supplies.
• Assist with budgeting, performance reviews, recruitment, and succession planning.
