Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator to support the supervisor in delivering exceptional housekeeping and laundry services for our guests in Ras Al Khaimah. You will log, coordinate, and communicate all requests, lead daily activities, and ensure quality standards are met across the operation.

Ideal candidates have a background in IHG or similar luxury resort environments, strong organizational and people skills, and fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Post Secondary Education, higher education qualification or equivalent in Hotel Administration / Business Administration.
• Two years’ prior tenure in a similar role.
• International luxury resort chain background.
• A keen eye for detail and strong work ethic.
• Good organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize effectively, and manage a dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Written and spoken fluency in English. Fluency in another language will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Handle all calls for the housekeeping department and ensure messages are logged and communicated promptly.
• Process requests and delegate work assignments in a timely manner; follow up with guests.
• Communicate operational concerns to leadership and address day-to-day issues.
• Lead the coordination of housekeeping staff and activities including opening/closing, room assignments, inspections, and tasks.
• Maintain knowledge of housekeeping services, outlets, areas, hours of operation, and inventory.
