Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai is seeking a Sales Manager to lead the hotel’s sales efforts and grow revenue across segments. The role focuses on building long-term client relationships, achieving targets, and maximizing productivity within the accounts portfolio.

You will drive strategies, manage the sales process, and negotiate rates for transient, group and long-stay business while aligning with the property’s commercial goals.

Qualifications

• Degree or Higher National Diploma equivalent in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a 5-star hotel in Sales and Banqueting with proven closing records
• GCC experience is an advantage
• Experience representing hotel at trade shows and sales missions
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in standard software
• Mature, outgoing with strong interpersonal skills for internal and external customers

Responsabilités

• Develops, acquires and manages business opportunities across relevant market segments and accounts in line with the hotel’s overall commercial strategy
• Proactively identifies new business opportunities and builds relationships with prospective and existing customers to drive revenue and market share
• Implements and executes sales objectives, strategies and action plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets
• Manages the sales process from prospecting through to negotiation, conversion and account development
• Quotes and negotiates rates and terms for transient, long-stay, group and other business within established parameters
• Maximizes revenue through selling, upselling and cross-selling while following established strategies
