Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Purchasing Buyer for InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa. You will source products, obtain quotes, and process purchase orders to support hotel operations.

Reporting to the Purchasing Supervisor and Purchasing Manager, you will coordinate with departments and suppliers to ensure quality, quantity and value while maintaining compliance and accuracy in the purchasing process.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities with suppliers and hotel departments.
• Experience with purchase orders, quotations and supplier coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source products and obtain competitive quotations from suppliers.
• Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with hotel departments to understand specifications and requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and follow up on pending orders and deliveries.
• Support cost-saving opportunities and maintain proper records.
