Job summary

The InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Laundry Supervisor for our Dubai Festival City property. This role leads the Linen Department, manages shifts, ensures timely delivery of linen and uniforms, and drives quality inspections to uphold hotel standards.

You will coordinate with Housekeeping, supervise staff, handle guest requests, and contribute to cost-control while maintaining a high level of service and brand integrity within our luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a similar environment (5* hotel).
• Good level of spoken and written English.
• Flexible with shifts and tasks.
• Cares for the employees and maintains attention to detail.
• Knowledge about budget (PNL).

Responsibilities

• Oversees linen room standards and procedures.
• Opens and closes the shift and ensures effective shift hand over.
• Manages all incoming and outgoing calls to Laundry Department.
• Ensures staff uniforms and hotel linen are delivered in a timely manner.
• Liaises with Housekeeping for guest and hotel requirements.
• Performs quality inspections.
• Maintains knowledge of all laundry systems.
• Conducts inventories and stock management.
• Leads staff engagement activities and supports cost-saving measures.
