Job summary

InterContinental Dubai Marina Hotel & Residences, part of the InterContinental Hotels Group, is seeking a Laundry Supervisor In-charge to lead daily laundry operations at our luxury Dubai property. You will supervise the team, ensure high standards in washing, drying, pressing, and distribution, and manage inventory while maintaining exceptional guest service.

English proficiency and a proactive attitude are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in a supervisory or in‑charge role within luxury hotel laundry operations.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all laundry operations, including washing, drying, pressing, folding, sorting, and distribution of linens, uniforms, and guest laundry.
• Oversee inventory and ordering of laundry supplies; prepare purchase requisitions.
• Ensure all hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest garments meet luxury standards; monitor workflow and timeliness.

InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel in the heart of Dubai Marina, featuring 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event spaces, and a variety of restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five-star presence.

Your role will include but not be limited to:

• Hands on position where maybe required to run the shift.
• Ordering or Uniforms.
• Communicating directly with Commercial Laundry and Uniform supplier
• To overlook uniform room
• Valet pick up and return.
• Interact professionally with guest.
• Needs to operate all machines in laundry with the highest of standards including dry cleaning machine and sport removal.
• Proficient in identifying stains and removal
• Need to be competent to run a shift alone when required
• To receive laundry from the commercial laundry - counting Involved in assisting with linen inventories
• Supervise and coordinate all laundry operations, including washing, drying, pressing, folding, sorting, and distribution of linens, uniforms, and guest laundry.
• Prepare purchase requisitions and coordinate ordering of laundry supplies.
• Ensure all hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest garments are processed according to established luxury hotel standards.
• Monitor workflow to ensure timely completion of laundry requirements.
• Maintain proper inventory levels of linens, uniforms, and laundry supplies.
• Ensure accurate collection, tracking, and delivery of guest laundry within established service timelines.

Ideally, you'll have some or all the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in in a supervisory or in-charge role within luxury hotel laundry operations
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
• English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and genuine passion for hospitality.
