Job summary

AccorHotel in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Assistant Laundry Manager to support the Laundry Manager in daily operations of the hotel laundry and linen services. This role ensures all guest laundry, hotel linen, uniforms, and textiles are processed to luxury standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation.

The candidate will supervise staff, coordinate with other departments, and uphold health & safety regulations while optimizing costs and maintaining inventory controls.

Qualifications

• At least several years in hotel laundry operations.
• Experience supervising a team in a luxury hotel setting.
• Strong knowledge of fabric care, linen handling and laundry chemicals.
• Understanding of hygiene, health & safety and quality-control procedures.
• Experience with industrial laundry equipment and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Laundry Manager in overseeing daily operations of the hotel laundry department.
• Supervise laundry team members, ensuring efficient workflow and high productivity.
• Monitor washing, drying, pressing, folding, sorting and distribution of linen and uniforms.
• Ensure adherence to approved procedures, fabric-care instructions and quality standards.
