Job summary

Anantara Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced Transportation Manager to oversee daily transportation operations for team members and business needs at our Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure safe, reliable transport, supervise drivers, and manage schedules in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in transportation/fleet management, strong knowledge of UAE traffic rules, and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in transportation or fleet management, hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE traffic regulations and transport requirements.
• Experience managing drivers, fleets, schedules, and transportation operations.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day transportation operations and ensure smooth, timely services.
• Supervise and coordinate drivers and transportation team members; prepare duty rosters.
• Ensure compliance with UAE traffic laws and company safety standards; maintain documents.
• Monitor costs, fuel usage, maintenance, and other transport-related expenses; assist with budget.
• Ensure reliable team transportation between accommodation and workplace and address issues promptly.
