Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Cluster Reservations Supervisor for its Abu Dhabi hotel and residences. The role oversees reservations operations, ensuring accurate bookings and strong guest service, while guiding the reservations team to maximise occupancy and revenue.

The successful candidate will manage availability, rates, and forecasts, coordinate with Front Office, Sales and Revenue Management, and maintain records in line with brand standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel reservations, preferably in a supervisory role within a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of hotel reservation systems and distribution channels.
• Good understanding of room inventory management, rate structures, and revenue optimisation.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• A guest-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
• The ability to lead a team, manage priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily reservations operations, ensuring all bookings are handled accurately and efficiently.
• Lead, guide, and support the reservations team to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Monitor room availability, rates, booking patterns, and reservation forecasts to maximise occupancy and revenue opportunities.
• Ensure all reservations, amendments, cancellations, and guest requests are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate closely with the Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Handle guest enquiries, special requests, and reservation-related concerns professionally.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and ensure compliance with hotel policies and brand standards.
• Support team training, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement of reservations procedures.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination between the hotel and residences reservations operations.
