Job summary

Al Tayer Group is seeking a Business Development Manager for Brand Acquisition in Retail. You will identify international and emerging luxury brands, evaluate potential partnerships, and lead negotiations and cross-functional execution from scouting to launch.

The role requires deep market insight, financial acumen, and excellent stakeholder management. You will collaborate across Retail, Marketing, Finance, Legal and Operations to deliver strategic brand growth.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in luxury retail brand acquisition or related field.
Experience identifying, scouting and acquiring international or emerging luxury/fashion brands.
Strong understanding of luxury fashion and retail industry dynamics.
Experience working with brand owners, founders, principals, and international partners.
Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage projects.

Responsibilities

Lead brand acquisition from scouting through onboarding and launch.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including Retail, Marketing, Finance, Legal and Operations.
Develop business cases, financial assessments and commercial recommendations for senior management.
Negotiate distribution, exclusivity, terms and margins with brand partners.
Create compelling presentations and business stories for senior stakeholders.
