Job summary

Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi invites an experienced Business Development Manager with a background in luxury retail to lead brand acquisition, evaluate international and emerging brands, and drive onboarding and launch of new partnerships.

You will build relationships with brand owners, conduct market research and financial analyses, negotiate terms and margins, and coordinate cross-functional teams across Retail, Marketing, Finance and Legal to convert opportunities into live brand partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in luxury retail brand acquisition or related field.
• Experience sourcing international or emerging luxury brands.
• Strong understanding of luxury fashion and distribution models.
• Proven ability to negotiate distribution terms and partnerships.
• Track record of building brand owner relationships.
• Experience with financial modelling and business cases.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source international luxury brands aligned with strategy.
• Lead commercial evaluation, business planning and pricing strategies.
• Negotiate terms, margins, exclusivity and contracts.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams through onboarding and launch.
• Provide market insights and portfolio development recommendations.
• Prepare compelling presentations and business cases for senior management.
