Job summary

Al Tayer Insignia in Dubai is seeking a passionate Beauty Buyer to lead planning, forecasting, and purchasing of a luxury beauty product assortment across online and offline channels.

You will identify the right mix to meet customer needs, drive profitability, and support brand positioning, collaborating with global brand partners and cross-functional teams.

The role offers a fast-paced, trend-led environment with opportunities to shape the beauty offering and grow within a luxury retail group.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in Buying & Retailing in the Beauty industry, preferably multi-brand.
• 5+ years' experience in Buying with clear focus on Beauty.

Responsibilities

• Analyse market trends and consumer preferences to plan buying in line with store demands.
• Plan and select range, type, quality and quantity of merchandise according to demand, trends, and budget targets.
• Carry out purchasing activities in line with brand purchase plans.
• Maintain profitable relationships with suppliers/principals and monitor contract terms adherence.
• Monitor stock levels in stores and coordinate with planning to maintain optimal stock.
• Support promotional activities and ensure merchandise is available in time and quantities; analyze reports and provide recommendations.
• Guide and validate product selection for planned campaigns with PR/Marketing teams.
• Keep abreast of market trends and competitor activities.
• Negotiate with suppliers on training for products and staff product knowledge.
• Review buying feedback and monitor sales performance to adjust strategy.
• Prepare periodic reports analyzing sales turnover and trends to decide on stock liquidation or continuation.
