Job summary

Al Tayer Insignia is seeking a strategic Beauty Buyer to lead planning, forecasting, and purchasing of a premium product assortment across online and offline channels. The role focuses on identifying the right product mix, volumes, and profitability while aligning with brand positioning.

You will work across prestige and luxury beauty brands, collaborating with global partners and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, trend-led environment to shape the beauty offering in the GCC region.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in the field of Buying & Retailing in the Beauty industry, preferably multi-brand.
• 5+ years' experience in Buying with clear focus on Beauty.

Responsibilities

• Analyse market trends, consumer preferences, sell through, seasonal demands to shape buying strategy.
• Plan and select the range, type, quality and quantity of merchandise according to demand and budgets.
• Maintain profitable relationships with existing suppliers/principals and monitor contract terms.
• Monitor stock levels across stores and coordinate with planning to optimize stock levels.
• Support promotions and campaigns with timely product availability and analysis of performance.
• Review buying feedback and provide recommendations to refine category strategy.
• Conduct regular store visits to review brand performance and competitor activity.
• Lead product knowledge training for staff to ensure up-to-date information.
