Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island in the UAE seeks a Receptionist – Salon Operations to be the first contact for guests at the salon, handling bookings, check-ins/outs, and payments while delivering exceptional service. Reporting to the Manager – Salon Operations, you will coordinate with stylists, maintain a pristine reception and retail area, and promote services.

Joining a 24-hour resort operation, you will work a rotating schedule including evenings and weekends, uphold Forbes Travel Guide standards,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in customer service or administration is a plus.
• Experience in a salon, spa, or luxury hospitality front desk setting preferred; pre-opening experience welcomed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Proficiency in salon booking software and POS systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a high level of accuracy.
• Immaculate grooming and a polished, professional demeanor.
• Prior experience or training with Forbes Travel Guide standards is an advantage.
• Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, consistent with a 24-hour resort operation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally on arrival and ensure a gracious farewell on departure.
• Manage appointment bookings via telephone, online platforms, and walk-ins, optimizing the schedule for guests and the salon team.
• Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and payment processing accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain an immaculate, well-organized reception and retail area at all times.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to guest inquiries, providing knowledgeable information about services, products, and promotions.
• Coordinate closely with stylists and technicians to ensure timely, seamless service delivery.
• Monitor and replenish inventory of front desk supplies and retail products.
• Deliver service in line with Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star standards.
• Assist with daily administrative tasks, records, and reporting.
• Uphold salon policies and procedures and follow up to ensure every guest leaves fully satisfied.
• Promote salon services, retail products, and current promotions to enhance the guest experience and support sales.
