Job summary

Rixos in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking an entry-level Housekeeping professional to support all hotel cleaning functions. You will assist the Supervisor, manage guest requests, and ensure rooms are prepared to standards with attention to detail and a guest-focused attitude.

Role requires physical fitness and flexibility to work weekends and shifts in a luxury hospitality environment. Experience in a 4/5-star setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Housekeeping or a similar role in hotel or hospitality.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, guestroom standards, and hygiene practices.
• Ability to follow instructions, SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Physically fit to handle cleaning tasks and long periods of standing.
• Strong attention to detail and a guest-focused attitude.
• Good communication and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays, and shifts.
• Experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Get assignment sheet from Housekeeping office and carry out tasks.
• Attend section meetings and note guest requests per supervisor.
• Maintain stock of amenities, cleaning supplies, mini bar items, and linen.
• Check rooms for Make Up or Do Not Disturb signs and act accordingly.
• Supervise end-of-day closing of the service area and ensure safe conditions.
• Communicate information to the next shift for smooth operations.
• Report guest valuables exposure to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Follow hospitality protocols when entering/leaving guest rooms.
• Clean bathrooms, walls, tubs, replace towels and report maintenance concerns.
• Make beds, tidy bedrooms, refill stationeries, and remove stains.
