Job summary

InterContinental Abu Dhabi is seeking a polished Club Lounge Receptionist to welcome guests and deliver a personalised arrival experience. You will manage lounge access, assist with dining and local inquiries, and collaborate with Front Office, F&B, and Concierge to ensure seamless service.

The role requires guest-focused hospitality, strong communication, and the ability to handle VIP guests with discretion in a luxury setting. Weekend and holiday shifts are included.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Front Office, Guest Relations, Reception, or a similar guest-facing role in luxury hotel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; warm and confident interaction.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple requests.
• Professional grooming, polished presentation and hospitality etiquette.
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems is an advantage.
• Ability to handle guest concerns discreetly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome Club InterContinental guests warmly and professionally.
• Manage guest arrivals and departures within the lounge for a personalized experience.
• Verify guest eligibility and access to the Club Lounge.
• Maintain accurate records of visits, preferences and requests.
• Respond to enquiries about facilities, dining options, and local attractions.
• Recognise VIPs and returning guests and anticipate needs.
• Coordinate with Front Office, F&B, Concierge and other teams to fulfill requests.
• Handle calls, messages, and guest communications professionally.
• Assist with restaurant reservations, transportation and other guest requests as needed.
• Provide personalised recommendations and ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Handle feedback and concerns with tact, escalating when necessary.
• Keep reception areas professional and organized and ensure confidentiality.
