Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island seeks an Assistant Manager - Lost & Found to lead the resort's Lost & Found team during ongoing development and pre-opening phases. You will oversee receipt, logging, secure storage and documentation of guest items while coordinating with departments to ensure timely resolutions.

You will verify ownership, manage inquiries, handle shipping documentation and uphold high standards of discretion, integrity and guest care.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, logistics or related field.
• Minimum four years of experience in rooms operations, housekeeping administration, guest services, stores or inventory control, including at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Practical understanding of inventory control, chain of custody, secure storage, guest-property handling and courier or customs documentation for local and international shipments.
• Confident user of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, hotel property management systems and lost property or inventory tracking platforms.
• Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly, respectfully and professionally with guests, colleagues and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversees lost property operations, logging, photographing and secure storage of found items.
• Manages transfer and custody of high-value items with proper documentation.
• Responds to inquiries via phone, email, website and in-person with empathy and professionalism.
• Verifies ownership before release and escalates substantiated claims.
• Coordinates return or shipping with documentation and charges.
• Collaborates with Housekeeping, Security, Front Office, F&B and Gaming to trace items.
• Maintains compliant retention, disposal and handover procedures.
• Supervises and trains the Lost & Found team across shifts.
• Produces reports on received, returned, shipped, disposed and outstanding items.
