Job summary

Talabat is seeking a senior operations/strategy professional to own the commercial and performance engine behind UAE operations. You will translate data into decisions, manage the operational P&L, and lead cross-functional initiatives with directors and VPs.

You will forecast performance, drive optimization, and build dashboards while balancing rider earnings, cost, and customer experience. Strong data literacy and financial modeling are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in operations, commercial, strategy, or consulting in marketplaces/logistics/Q-commerce.
• Commercial instincts: understands levers that move profit.
• Strong data literacy with complex models and credible conclusions.
• Executive presence with senior stakeholders (directors/VPs).
• Financial modeling and P&L fluency; able to explain and challenge models.
• SQL/Looker/Tableau are a strong plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Own the UAE operations commercials, cost-per-order, rider cost, and KPI-driven P&L.
• Forecast to actuals; lead interventions to close performance gaps.
• Drive optimization across the network balancing efficiency with rider earnings and customer experience.
• Build analyses and dashboards; translate complexity into actionable insights.
• Lead cross-functional strategic projects and present recommendations to senior leadership.
