Job summary

Emex DWC in Dubai is seeking a Logistics Operations Officer to coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments, handle order processing, carrier bookings, and shipment documentation on-site. You'll monitor inventory movements, maintain stock accuracy, and drive on-time delivery while collaborating with warehouse staff, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize lead times and costs.

Candidates should have 4–6 years of logistics or freight forwarding experience and strong knowledge of air/sea

Qualifications

• 4–6 years’ experience in logistics/freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of air and sea freight operations in UAE.
• Experience coordinating with multiple supply chain stakeholders.
• Understanding of customs clearance (Free Zone/Mainland).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, cargo agents, and shipping lines.
• Manage freight bookings with agents and carriers.
• Oversee shipping and customs clearance processes.
• Monitor shipments and resolve delays.
• Perform billing vs. expense analysis.
• Maintain internal systems with delivery rates and schedules.
• Provide operational support and status updates.
• Ensure documentation flow (invoices, BL/AWB, packing lists).
• Optimize routes, carriers, and pricing.
