Job summary

Amzone International is seeking a Logistics Officer to coordinate daily logistics, transportation, and delivery activities in Sharjah. You will work with suppliers, freight forwarders and warehouse teams to ensure timely movement of goods and proper documentation.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's or Diploma in logistics with 2–5 years of relevant experience in logistics or warehouse operations, preferably in UAE/GCC. Driving license is a plus and ERP/Excel proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in logistics, supply chain or related field.
• 2–5 years of logistics, transportation or warehouse operations experience.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred; logistics certification an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics, transportation, dispatch and delivery activities.
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods and documents.
• Track shipments and resolve delays, damages or shortages.
• Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, and warehouse teams.
• Maintain delivery notes, shipment documents and inventory movement reports.
• Support import/export logistics and customs clearance.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety and customs regulations.
• Monitor costs and support process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare logistics reports and status updates for management.

Role Objective

The Logistics Officer will coordinate daily logistics, transportation, shipments, material movement and delivery activities, ensuring timely movement of goods and accurate documentation. The role will work closely with suppliers, transporters, warehouse teams, freight forwarders, customs agents and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics, transportation, dispatch and delivery activities, including scheduling and vehicle utilization.
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods, materials, equipment and documents.
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, shortages and discrepancies.
• Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, warehouse teams and internal departments for smooth material movement.
• Maintain accurate delivery notes, shipment documents, gate passes, vehicle records and inventory movement reports.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams for material receipt, dispatch, loading/unloading and inventory movement.
• Support import/export logistics, customs clearance and related documentation in coordination with freight forwarders and customs agents.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, customs regulations and logistics procedures.
• Monitor transportation/logistics costs and support cost optimization and process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare logistics reports, delivery status updates and operational summaries for management.
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely updates on pending, in-transit and completed shipments/deliveries.

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Transportation Management or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain or warehouse operations.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred, particularly in industrial, engineering, trading, construction or Oil & Gas environments.
• Logistics/Supply Chain certification is an advantage.
• UAE Driving License is an advantage where operationally required.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of logistics, transportation, shipment tracking, warehouse and inventory processes.
• Familiarity with import/export documentation and UAE customs procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with ERP, inventory or logistics management systems.
• Strong reporting, scheduling, coordination and follow-up skills.
