Job summary

Red Sea Container Terminals in Dubai is seeking a Logistics Officer to coordinate daily logistics operations, track shipments, and maintain accurate documentation across suppliers, transport partners, warehouses, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in logistics or related field, 2–4+ years in logistics or supply chain roles, strong organization, attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, or supply chain operations preferred.
• Familiarity with import/export documentation and customs procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments, deliveries, collections, and transportation schedules.
• Track cargo movements and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Prepare and maintain shipping, delivery, customs, and logistics documentation.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transport companies, and customs agents.
• Work closely with warehouse teams to coordinate receiving, dispatch, and inventory movements.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively follow up on delays, damages, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery schedules, shipping documents, and logistics transactions.
• Update logistics information in ERP, TMS, or relevant tracking systems.
• Communicate shipment updates with suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
• Support customs clearance and import/export activities when required.
• Prepare logistics reports and monitor transportation and delivery performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and reduce operational delays.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2–4+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, or supply chain operations preferred
• Good understanding of shipment coordination, warehouse operations, and delivery processes
• Familiarity with import/export documentation and customs procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and logistics/ERP systems
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities under deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• UAE or GCC logistics experience is an advantage
• Relevant logistics or supply chain certification is a plus
