Responsibilities

• Maintain paperwork (manifests, permits, transport documents) up to date.
• Verify weight and value of transported commodities against records.
• Coordinate invoicing, payments, and reconciliation of transported volumes/values.
• Support basic contract management activities and monitor deliverables.

Duties and responsibilities

• Coordinate and support waste collectionactivities from multiple construction sites to designated disposalfacilities, ensuring a smooth and compliant end-to-end process
• Ensure full compliance withlocal UAE regulations governing waste handling, transportation, and disposalthroughout the entire cycle
• Liaise closely with theoperational team to plan and coordinate daily collection and transportactivities
• Ensure all requiredpaperwork (manifests, permits, transport documentation) is properly completedand kept up to date at all times
• Control and verify theweight and value of commodities/materials being transported, ensuringaccuracy against records
• Liaise with theadministration team to align on invoicing, payments, and reconciliation oftransported volumes/values
• Support basic contractmanagement activities, including monitoring deliverables and terms againstday-to-day operations
• Identify and flagoperational or compliance issues proactively, escalating where necessary

Knowledge& Qualifications

• University degree or diplomain relevant discipline or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years ofexperience in a logistics/supervisory role within the UAE
• Prior experience in wastetransportation or waste management logistics strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of UAEwaste management regulations and compliance requirements (or strongwillingness/ability to quickly acquire this knowledge)
• Basic understanding ofcontract management principles
• Proficiency in MicrosoftExcel and Word; solid general IT skills
