Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end staff accommodation operations and compliance with Abu Dhabi health, safety, and occupancy regulations.
• Manage room allocations, check-ins/outs, and maintain a digital directory of residents.
• Coordinate routine maintenance, cleaning, pest control, and emergency repairs to minimize disruption.
• Manage camp rules, disciplinary issues, and ensure a secure, clean living environment.
• Manage daily transport schedules, routes, and vehicle allocations across sites in Abu Dhabi.
• Coordinate with transport vendors/drivers to ensure safe, operable fleets and fuel/insurance tracking.
• Review invoices, service logs, and contractor billing with the finance department.
• Conduct regular OHS inspections and maintain fire safety logs and evacuation drills.

We are looking for a high-performing, resilient Accommodation and Transportation Coordinator to manage large-scale logistics and staff housing for our fast-paced operations in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-pressure environment, managing complex, multi-site staff accommodations and a large daily fleet movement while strictly adhering to UAE labor standards, health, safety, and municipal regulations (e.g., ADM/DMT standards).

Key Responsibilities

• Staff Accommodation Management
  • Oversee end-to-end operations for company-provided housing camps or apartments, ensuring full compliance with Abu Dhabi Municipality health, safety, and occupancy regulations.
  • Manage room allocations, check-ins, check-outs, and maintain an up-to-date digital directory of all resident employees.
  • Coordinate routine maintenance, deep cleaning, pest control, and emergency repairs quickly to minimize disruption to staff.
  • Enforce camp/housing rules, manage disciplinary issues related to facility use, and ensure a secure, clean living environment.
• Fleet & Transportation Logistics
  • Manage daily transport schedules, bus routes, and car/van allocations for hundreds of employees commuting between housing facilities and active project sites across Abu Dhabi and surrounding areas.
  • Coordinate closely with transport vendors or internal drivers to ensure vehicles are fully operational, tracked, and meet safety standards.
  • Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance logs, traffic fine tracking, and registration/insurance renewals.
  • Rapidly pivot logistics during shift changes, emergencies, or sudden project requirement shifts.
• Vendor & Contractor Management
  • Supervise third-party service providers - security, cleaning, and transport rental companies) to ensure SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met.
  • Review and verify invoices, service logs, and contractor billing before submitting them to the finance department.
• HSE & Compliance
  • Conduct regular inspections of accommodation and transport fleets to ensure absolute compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines.
  • Maintain up-to-date logs for fire safety checks, first-aid box replenishments, and evacuation drills.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience (minimum 3 5 years) handling high-volume staff accommodation and transport logistics within a fast-paced environment (construction, oil & gas support, manufacturing, or large hospitality) in the UAE.
• In-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi municipal housing guidelines, civil defense safety rules, and UAE traffic regulations.
• Exceptional crisis management and multitasking abilities capable of handling sudden logistical challenges calmly.
• Valid UAE driving license is a strong advantage.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with multi-tasking proficiency in Arabic and English.
