Job summary

Bhatia Group is seeking a Logistics & Lifting Supervisor in the United Arab Emirates to plan and oversee site logistics and lifting activities. The role ensures safe material movement, crane coordination, and adherence to UAE safety standards on construction sites.

Ideal candidates have at least 4 years UAE construction experience with main contractors, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple activities under pressure. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years UAE experience in construction (mandatory).
• Experience with main contractors on building projects is essential.
• Good knowledge of lifting operations, crane coordination, and logistics planning.
• Familiarity with UAE safety standards and regulations.
• Strong coordination, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle multiple site activities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage site logistics including material delivery, storage, and distribution.
• Coordinate with procurement and site teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Monitor and control site access, traffic flow, and laydown areas.
• Maintain proper records of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Optimize space utilization and ensure efficient site organization.
• Supervise all lifting activities including cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment.
• Ensure lifting plans, method statements, and risk assessments are prepared and followed.
• Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and signalmen for safe execution.
• Conduct pre-lift meetings and ensure compliance with lifting procedures.
• Inspect lifting equipment and ensure valid third-party certifications.
• Ensure all operations comply with UAE HSE regulations and company policies.
• Conduct toolbox talks related to logistics and lifting activities.
• Identify hazards and implement control measures.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports on logistics and lifting activities.
• Monitor productivity and suggest improvements.
