Job summary
Leading Contracting Company in Dubai seeks an experienced Lifting Engineer / Lifting Supervisor to manage lifting operations on high-rise, residential, and villa projects. You will oversee crane operations, review lifting plans and risk assessments, and ensure strict adherence to UAE safety standards.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in lifting operations, knowledge of cranes and rigging, and UAE regulatory awareness. Certification is preferred.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in mechanical/civil engineering preferred.
- 5+ years of lifting operations experience on construction projects.
- Knowledge of UAE lifting regulations and safety standards.
- Valid lifting-related certifications preferred (Lifting Supervisor / Appointed Person).
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and supervise lifting operations at site.
- Prepare and review lifting plans, risk assessments and method statements.
- Supervise crane operations, lifting equipment and rigging activities.
- Coordinate with site teams, crane operators, riggers and project management.
- Inspect lifting gears, tools and equipment for validity and safety.
- Maintain lifting records and inspection reports.
