Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Civil / Diploma / or equivalent.
• ADNOC-approved Lifting Supervisor certification (added advantage).
• Proven experience working inside ADNOC facilities with PTW system exposure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lifting operations on-site, ensuring they are performed safely and in compliance with policies and standards.
• Safety compliance: conduct risk assessments and implement control measures.
• Monitor condition and maintenance of lifting equipment, ensuring inspection and servicing.
• Lead and supervise riggers, crane operators, and lifting personnel; provide training on procedures and safety.
• Develop, review, and implement detailed lifting plans with load weights and rigging configurations.
• Coordinate lifting with other activities to ensure timely delivery; liaise with site managers and subcontractors.
• Document incidents or near-misses; perform investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure lifting documentation (inspections, permits, licenses) is maintained.
• Provide regular reports to the project manager on status, risks, and delays.

We are looking for a highly skilled and ADNOC-approved Lifting Supervisor to join our team in the Oil & Gas sector. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all lifting operations on-site, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency in line with ADNOC standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee lifting operations on-site, ensuring they are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, local laws, and international standards.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure lifting operations are conducted in full compliance with health and safety regulations, including conducting risk assessments and implementing control measures to prevent accidents or incidents.
• Equipment Management: Monitor the condition and maintenance of lifting equipment (e.g., cranes, hoists, slings, etc.), ensuring all machinery is fit for use, properly inspected, and serviced according to schedules.
• Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of riggers, crane operators, and other lifting personnel. Provide training and guidance on lifting procedures, safety protocols, and the proper use of equipment.
• Lift Plans and Procedures: Develop, review, and implement detailed lifting plans, including the assessment of load weights, equipment requirements, and rigging configurations. Ensure all plans are approved before execution.
• On-Site Coordination: Coordinate lifting operations with other construction activities to minimize disruptions and ensure timely project delivery. Liaise with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient lifting operations.
• Incident Reporting and Investigation: Document any lifting incidents or near-misses, conducting investigations as necessary. Develop corrective actions and ensure that safety protocols are revised accordingly.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that all required lifting documentation (inspection records, permits, and licenses) are completed and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Reporting and Communication: Provide regular reports to the project manager on the status of lifting operations, highlighting any concerns, risks, or delays. Maintain clear and effective communication with the site team and stakeholders.
