Job summary

TASC Outsourcing in Dubai is seeking a Logistics & Ground Operations Executive to manage import/export clearance, coordinate with customs agents and port authorities, track vessel arrivals and container movements, and ensure all documentation is prepared accurately and on time.

The role requires liaising with UAE authorities, arranging temperature-controlled transportation, coordinating cold-chain storage, and planning deliveries to wholesale customers while maintaining compliance with food

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in UAE logistics, import/export, customs clearance, or port operations.
• Experience handling food import documentation will be highly preferred.
• Experience with cold-chain logistics or cold-storage warehousing is preferred.
• Good understanding of UAE customs and import clearance procedures.
• Strong coordination skills with customs agents, transport companies, and warehouse providers.
• Existing network of customs clearance agents, transporters, and cold-storage operators will be an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and containers under tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customs clearance agents and port authorities for incoming shipments.
• Ensure all import and export documentation is prepared, verified, and submitted on time.
• Track vessel arrivals, container movements, customs clearance, and release of shipments.
• Follow up on customs documentation and resolve clearance-related issues promptly.
• Maintain valid import permits, trade documentation, and food-related approvals.
• Coordinate with relevant UAE authorities and municipal departments for required clearances.
• Ensure compliance with applicable food import and safety requirements.
• Identify and coordinate with suitable cold-storage warehouse providers.
• Negotiate competitive storage and handling rates.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound stock movements.
• Monitor inventory movements and ensure proper handling of temperature-sensitive products.
• Ensure products are stored and handled according to required temperature and safety standards.
• Coordinate with third-party logistics and transportation providers.
• Arrange temperature-controlled vehicles for customer deliveries.
• Plan and schedule deliveries to wholesale customers.
• Monitor delivery timelines and resolve transportation-related issues.
