Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Logistics Supervisor in the UAE to coordinate transportation activities, guide operational staff, and keep goods moving on schedule.

You will direct dispatch, assign routes, monitor deliveries, coordinate with warehouse teams, and resolve delays or vehicle issues to maintain service standards.

The role requires a diploma or degree in logistics or related field, supervisory experience, and strong communication with drivers and internal teams; UAE/GCC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation or related discipline.
• Experience supervising logistics, distribution or transport operations.
• Strong communication with drivers, customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily dispatch and distribution activities.
• Assign routes, duties and schedules to delivery personnel.
• Review shipment requirements and coordinate timely dispatch.
• Monitor deliveries and communicate status updates to teams.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel for order preparation and release.
• Check delivery paperwork before goods leave the facility.
• Handle disruptions such as delays, failed deliveries or vehicle issues.
• Maintain communication with drivers, customers, suppliers and transport partners.
• Review returned shipments and coordinate appropriate follow-up.
• Monitor use of vehicles, equipment, and logistics resources.
• Keep track of daily operational figures and prepare management updates.
• Guide team members on procedures and safe handling practices.
• Identify areas where delivery processes can be improved.
• Ensure logistics activities align with schedules and service standards.
