Job summary

Gulf Agency Company (GAC) Sharjah is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to be based in Hamriyah Free Zone and Sharjah. The role covers complete handling of air/sea/land import & export activities, clearance & forwarding, and warehousing.

You will ensure documentation is complete, cargo moves on schedule, and all key stakeholders are informed, with a focus on UAE regulations. 3+ years in a similar role is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate with university degree.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and able to learn new software quickly.
• Knowledge of local customs/port clearance rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate air/sea/land import & export activities, including documentation, warehousing, and forwarding.
• Ensure all documents are complete and correct after commercial agreements are reached.
• Keep stakeholders updated and ensure cargo moves at scheduled times.

Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator – General Logistics organises complete handling of air/sea/land import & export products, as well as clearing & forwarding and warehousing, effectively and professionally. Once a commercial agreement is reached, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible to ensure that all documentation is complete and correct, cargo moves at the scheduled time, and all key stakeholders are kept updated.

Job requirements

Qualification: Qualification: Graduate, University degree.

Compute knowledge: Proficient with MS Office package, especially Excel and willing and able to learn new software quickly.

Professional skill: Knowledge in local customs / port clearance rules and regulations

Experience: 3+ years’ experiences in a similar industry, ideally within UAE.
