Job summary

GAC Sharjah is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to be based in Hamriyah Free zone and Sharjah. The role covers air/sea/land import & export, clearance, forwarding and warehousing, with responsibility to ensure documentation is complete and cargo moves on time.

The candidate should have a university degree, 3+ years in a similar field and strong MS Office (Excel) skills, and knowledge of local customs and port clearance rules.

Qualifications

• Graduate or university degree.
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of local customs / port clearance rules.
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar industry, ideally in UAE.

Responsibilities

• Organise handling of air/sea/land import & export products and warehousing.
• Ensure documentation is complete and correct, cargo moves on schedule.
• Keep all stakeholders updated throughout the process.

GAC Sharjah is looking for candidates for the role of Logistics Coordinator, to be based in Hamriyah Free zone and Sharjah. Could it be you?
The Logistics Coordinator – General Logistics organises complete handling of air/sea/land import & export products, as well as clearing & forwarding and warehousing, effectively and professionally. Once a commercial agreement is reached, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible to ensure that all documentation is complete and correct, cargo moves at the scheduled time, and all key stakeholders are kept updated.

Job Requirements

Qualification: Qualification: Graduate, University degree.
Compute knowledge: Proficient with MS Office package, especially Excel and willing and able to learn new software quickly.
Professional skill: Knowledge in local customs / port clearance rules and regulations
Experience: 3+ years’ experiences in a similar industry, ideally within UAE.
