To join this exciting new journey, we are now seeking a Logistics Manager – a key role at the heart of our growth.
Your key responsibilities rill include:
Defining and implementing warehousing and transport strategies to achieve efficient and service-oriented logistics operations.
Leading, coaching, and developing a team of logistics professionals, promoting a “safety first” culture and ensuring HSE compliance in all activities.
Overseeing all warehouse functions: goods receiving and inspection, kit prep for production, dispatch operations, inventory management, and freight forwarder management.
Ensuring site compliance with UAE Free Zone, customs, trade, and excise regulations.
Managing inventory accuracy with robust cycle counts, process optimization, and reporting, including root cause analysis and action planning.
Maintaining up-to-date logistics data in ERP systems to enhance process compliance and stakeholder visibility.
Planning resources to meet daily logistics volume targets, building and updating load/capacity forecasts.
Developing, monitoring, and controlling the logistics budget, including transport and packaging spend.
Collaborating on freight provider selection and managing relationships with indirect procurement.
Documenting all logistics processes within the One Safran Referential and ensuring compliance with quality and customs standards.
Training logistics staff on processes and tools and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and digital transformation.
Leading QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) activities and driving operational problem resolution.
Direct responsibility for a logistics team and oversight of inventory.
Substantial experience in warehouse and transport management, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Proven knowledge of inventory control, compliance with local and international standards, and ERP/WMS/TMS systems.
Strong leadership skills, able to motivate, train, and manage multi-national teams.
Experience developing and managing budgets and indirect procurement spend.
Advanced analytical and reporting abilities, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong commitment to HSE, continuous improvement, and digital transformation.
Familiarity with UAE customs procedures and warehouse automation/lean practices is a plus.
