InterContinental Abu Dhabi is seeking a warm, polished Lobby Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will help create a welcoming atmosphere and deliver the exceptional hospitality the InterContinental brand is known for.

In this role you will greet guests, assist with enquiries, coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, and F&B to ensure seamless service, and ensure grooming standards and a professional appearance at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest relations, front office, hostessing, or similar customer-facing role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for hospitality and personalized guest experiences.
• Professional grooming and welcoming demeanor.
• English communication; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced hotel.
• Proactive, guest-focused approach; remains calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

InterContinental Abu Dhabi is looking for a warm, polished, and service-oriented Lobby Hostess to join our team. As one of the first points of contact for our guests, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering the exceptional hospitality experience associated with the InterContinental brand.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you will mainly be responsible for:

• Welcome guests with a warm, genuine, and professional approach, creating a positive first impression upon arrival.
• Assist guests with general enquiries, directions, and information about the hotel’s facilities, services, and dining outlets.
• Maintain a visible and approachable presence in the hotel lobby, ensuring guests feel welcomed and attended to.
• Identify guest needs and proactively offer assistance to enhance their overall experience.
• Coordinate with the Front Office, Concierge, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
• Assist with guest arrivals, departures, and special requests, working closely with the relevant teams when required.
• Recognise VIP guests and returning guests, ensuring they receive personalised attention in line with hotel standards.
• Handle guest feedback, concerns, and requests professionally, escalating matters to the appropriate team when necessary.
• Maintain excellent grooming standards and a polished, professional appearance at all times.
• Ensure the hotel lobby and guest-facing areas remain welcoming, organised, and presentable.
• Stay informed about hotel promotions, events, facilities, and services to provide accurate information to guests.
• Anticipate guest requirements and demonstrate genuine care, attention to detail, and a proactive service approach.
• Uphold the hotel's brand standards, service procedures, and commitment to exceptional guest satisfaction.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth, personalised, and memorable guest experience.

What we need from you:

• Previous experience in guest relations, front office, hostessing, or a similar customer-facing role in the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and confident personality.
• A strong passion for hospitality and delivering personalised guest experiences.
• Professional grooming, a positive attitude, and a welcoming demeanour.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• A proactive, guest-focused approach with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
