The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah invites applications for a Commis – Hot Line (Japanese & Korean). You will support the kitchen team with daily prep and cooking under senior chefs, ensuring quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Qualifications

• Basic culinary skills and kitchen knowledge.
• Understanding of food hygiene, safety, and sanitation.
• Experience as Commis Hot Line in a restaurant or hotel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen with attention to detail.
• Presentable and polished appearance in line with hotel guidelines.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support daily food preparation and cooking under guidance of senior chefs.
• Follow recipes, portion standards and presentation guidelines.
• Assist in setting up workstations and mise-en-place.
• Ensure proper receiving, storing, labeling, and rotation of ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and equipment.
• Support kitchen operations with side duties as required by Chef.
