Job summary

The Luxury Collection in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled cook to prepare meals, regulate ovens, thaw ingredients, and maintain quality and presentation in a fast-paced kitchen.

You will assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching staff, ensure safety policies, and communicate clearly with service teams to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Candidates should have a technical or vocational diploma and at least 3 years of related experience; no supervisory experience required.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related Work Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to recipes and standards.
• Regulate oven, broiler, grill, and roaster temperatures.
• Thaw frozen items safely in the refrigerator.
• Ensure proper portioning, plating, and garnishes.
• Maintain food logs and monitor quality/quantity.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching staff.
• Follow safety and security policies; report issues.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidential information.
• Communicate menu specials and out-of-stock items.
