Job summary

ALEC Engineering and Contracting L.L.C. in the UAE is seeking a Lifting Supervisor to lead lifting operations safely on site.

You will supervise teams, verify lift plans, certificates, and equipment, and coordinate with the Project Lifting Appointed Person/Crane Coordinator. The role requires a Certified Lift Supervisor accreditation, strong leadership, and a thorough understanding of MSRA and site logistics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of lifting operations experience in construction.
• Certified Lift Supervisor accreditation is required.
• Knowledge of lift plans, MSRA, lifting equipment, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lifting operations per approved lift plans and safety requirements.
• Verify certificates and thorough examination records before operations.
• Coordinate daily lifting activities with the Project Lifting Appointed Person/Crane Coordinator.
• Lead toolbox talks and MSRA/DSTI sessions.
• Inspect lifting accessories and equipment before and after use.
• Identify and address lifting hazards and ensure safe ground conditions.
