Job summary

Guildhall is seeking a Lifting Supervisor for a major infrastructure project in Dubai. The role entails supervising and coordinating lifting and rigging activities on site, ensuring operations are safe, efficient, and aligned with lifting plans, project procedures and HSE standards.

The successful candidate will oversee mobile and crawler crane operations, coordinate with site engineers, crane operators and riggers, and ensure proper planning and safe execution of lifting tasks.

Qualifications

• LEEA Appointed Person certification is required.
• 3–5 years of proven lifting operations experience on large-scale civil/infrastructure projects.
• Experience with mobile and crawler cranes, rigging, lifting plans and safe lifting procedures.
• UAE or GCC project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate lifting and rigging activities on site.
• Oversee crane operations and safe use of lifting gear and accessories.
• Coordinate with site engineers, crane operators, riggers, and project teams for proper planning and execution.
• Monitor lifting operations for compliance with project specs, risk assessments, method statements and HSE requirements.
• Inspect lifting equipment and rigging, identify hazards and address unsafe practices.

Job description

Guildhall is looking for a Lifting Supervisor to join a major infrastructure project in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating lifting and rigging activities on site, ensuring all operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved lifting plans, project procedures, and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all lifting and rigging activities, ensuring operations are carried out safely and in line with approved lifting plans and procedures.
• Oversee mobile and crawler crane operations, including the safe and proper use of lifting equipment, accessories, and rigging gear.
• Coordinate with site engineers, crane operators, riggers, and project teams to ensure lifting activities are properly planned and safely executed.
• Monitor lifting operations in compliance with project specifications, risk assessments, method statements, and site HSE requirements.
• Inspect lifting equipment and rigging accessories, identify potential hazards, and ensure any unsafe practices or conditions are immediately addressed.

• Must hold a valid LEEA Appointed Person certification
• Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in lifting operations within civil, infrastructure, airport, bridge, metro or other large-scale construction projects
• Strong experience with mobile/crawler crane operations, rigging activities, lifting plans, and safe lifting procedures
• Good understanding of site HSE requirements and lifting safety standards
• UAE or GCC project experience is preferred.
