Job summary

Emirates Electrical & Instrumentation Company LLC, part of the Ghobash Group, seeks a Rigging Supervisor to oversee site lifting activities in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure safe rigging, inspect equipment, and coordinate with engineers and HSE to meet ADNOC standards.

The role requires 5–10 years in oil and gas rigging, valid ADNOC-certified qualifications, and a proven ability to guide teams under challenging deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years as Rigging Supervisor in Oil & Gas, preferably ADNOC projects.
• Certified lifting supervisor and approved rigging training.
• Strong safety focus and ability to lead toolbox talks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all rigging and lifting activities at the site per ADNOC safety regulations.
• Ensure selection, inspection, and certification of rigging gear (slings, shackles, chains, hoists).
• Conduct risk assessments and lifting plans with site engineers.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC and international standards in rigging work.
• Provide guidance to riggers for safe lifting operations.
• Verify load calculations and lifting capacities of cranes and equipment.
• Follow ADNOC PTW system and safety procedures.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings on rigging operations.
• Maintain documentation of rigging operations, equipment certifications, and daily progress.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and HSE teams to ensure smooth lifting activities.

Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate all rigging and lifting activities at the site in compliance with ADNOC safety regulations.
• Ensure proper selection, inspection, and certification of rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, chains, and hoists.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop lifting plans in coordination with site engineers.
• Ensure all rigging work is carried out safely and efficiently following ADNOC and international standards.
• Provide guidance and instructions to riggers, ensuring safe rigging and lifting operations.
• Verify load calculations and lifting capacities of cranes and other lifting equipment.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC PTW (Permit to Work) system and safety procedures.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings related to rigging and lifting operations.
• Maintain proper documentation of rigging operations, equipment certifications, and daily progress reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and HSE teams to ensure smooth execution of lifting activities.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience as a Rigging Supervisor in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably in ADNOC projects.

Certifications:

• Lifting Supervisor Certificate (approved by ADNOC/Third Party)
• TUV/LEEA Certified Rigger Level-3 or 4
• OPITO / TUV / ADNOC-approved Rigging & Lifting training
