Job summary

BettingJobs in Abu Dhabi is assisting an iGaming regulator by recruiting a Licensing Product Manager to be based in our Abu Dhabi office. You will own licensing product workstreams, gather requirements from stakeholders, and ensure regulatory and operational considerations are reflected in the delivery roadmap.

You will lead workshops, support UAT, and coordinate with the Digital Delivery team and vendors to translate business needs into practical features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as Product Manager or Business Analyst, preferably in regulatory/compliance.
• Strong understanding of regulatory licensing processes and frameworks.
• Experience documenting processes using UML or BPMN.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, JIRA/Trello, and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

Job description

BettingJobs are working with an iGaming regulator responsible for overseeing and regulating the commercial gaming industry in the UAE, looking for a Licensing Product Manager, to be based in their Abu Dhabi office.

Responsibilities:

Product Ownership

1.1. Requirements Gathering:

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including internal teams and end-users, to clarify and validate licensing related business needs.
• Provide input to Digital Delivery team on requirement, ensuring regulatory and operational considerations are fully understood.
• Analyse current systems and processes to identify gaps and areas for improvement from a business perspective.

1.2. Business Process Analysis:

• Conduct thorough analyses of business workflows to understand regulatory licensing requirements.
• Develop process maps, workflows, and use cases to visualise and communicate proposed changes.

1.3. Documentation:

• Create and maintain clear, concise documentation for business processes, regulatory interpretations and licensing practices.
• Produce detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders to support decision-making.

2. Stakeholder Communication:

• Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment of requirements and project objectives.
• Work closely with the Digital Delivery team who will act as the primary liaison with the developers/ vendors, ensuring business needs are clearly communicated and understood.

3. Testing and Validation:

• Perform initial and ongoing user acceptance testing (UAT) and support UAT by assisting business stakeholders in validating the final product.

4. Project Management Support:

• Support project planning by providing input from a Licensing perspective.
• Track project progress and report on status to business stakeholders.

5. Training and Guidance:

• Support the preparation of user manuals, stakeholder guidance and training materials for all aspects of the platform.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or significant appropriate experience in the same.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager, Business Analyst or in a related role, preferably in regulatory or compliance projects and/or commercial gaming.
• Strong understanding of regulatory licensing processes and frameworks.
• Proficiency in documenting business processes and requirements using tools like UML, BPMN, or similar methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
