Job summary

We are hiring a full-time Librarian for our library in Musaffah, UAE. The ideal candidate is a Malayalee with a passion for books and knowledge.

This role involves managing the library collection, cataloging new materials, helping patrons, providing reference services, planning events, and maintaining the online catalog. Strong English skills are required; Arabic is a plus. Salary is based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a library setting highly desirable.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and interaction with patrons.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the library's collection of books, magazines, and other materials.
• Organize and catalogue new materials.
• Assist patrons with finding and checking out materials.
• Provide reference services and help with research.
