Librarian in Abu Dhabi, UAE (Malayalee Preferred with Visa Sponsorship)

We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate should have Malayalee heritage and be able to speak English fluently. The position offers visa sponsorship and a competitive salary package.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the acquisition, cataloguing and classification of library materials, as well as the supervision of library services. He/She will also be responsible for providing reference services to library patrons, organizing special events and activities, and helping develop new programs or services. Additionally, the librarian will need to stay up-to-date on best practices in library management and keeping track of current trends in digital library technologies.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Library Science or equivalent experience working in a library setting, excellent organizational skills, strong customer service abilities, and an eye for detail. Familiarity with computers and various software programs is essential. The ability to speak multiple languages is preferred but not required.
