Job summary

Astra Tech is seeking a Business Analyst who owns outcomes across growth, operations and financial performance. You will diagnose why numbers move, design interventions, and drive them through Product, Risk, Growth, Operations, Collections and Finance until they land.

You will pull your own data, build your analysis, form your point of view, and defend it in front of senior leadership. Expect clear, quantified proposals with measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on consumer lending experience in banks or fintech.
• Strong, independent SQL capability and data extraction.
• Understanding of lending workflows: application, underwriting, limit assignment, disbursement, billing, repayment, collections.
• Working knowledge of lending P&L and accounting for loans.
• Track record of implementable proposals with measurable impact.
• Excellent written and verbal English, with executive storytelling.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Write your own SQL to extract, join, and validate data from lending core, payment, CRM, and behavioural event sources.
• Build and maintain metric trees behind your KPIs, decomposing numbers into operational drivers.
• Investigate performance anomalies end-to-end and identify root causes.
• Design and maintain dashboards and recurring reporting for leadership actions.
• Convert analyses into concrete, quantified proposals: changes, impact in AED, costs, risks, and success metrics.
• Size opportunities before build and validate after shipment, including champion/challenger A/B tests with risk/quality readouts.
• Drive adopted proposals through to implementation with Product, Risk, Engineering, and Operations.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a decision-ready format.
• Build and maintain unit economics models for lending products and understand pricing/tenor impacts.
