Job summary

MCG Asia is seeking a commercially minded Business Analyst to join our client’s fast-growing fintech team in Dubai. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, product, technology and operations to deliver data-led improvements across a dynamic financial-services environment.

You will translate business needs into clear requirements, support change initiatives, and help improve customer experience, efficiency and commercial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably fintech/financial services.
• Strong experience gathering requirements and producing structured documentation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather, document and validate business requirements.
• Translate complex requirements into user stories, process maps, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse existing processes, identify inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements.
• Support the delivery of new products, platforms, integrations and operational-change initiatives.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, risks, opportunities and performance insights.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk and Compliance teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirements sessions and solution reviews.
• Support UAT planning and execution, including test-case development, issue tracking and resolution.
• Prepare clear documentation and presentations for senior management and project stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions are aligned with regulatory, risk and operational requirements within a fintech setting.

• Comfortable working with data; experience with Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar tools is advantageous
