Job summary

Progressive GE in Dubai seeks an experienced Group Legal Counsel to provide practical support across transactions, projects and operations, safeguarding regulatory and reputational interests while enabling business growth through contracting and governance.

You will oversee matters from inception to completion, including management of external counsel, with 7–10 years PQE in Oil & Gas and energy sectors and fluent English; Arabic and French are a plus.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years PQE in law with experience at a magic circle firm and in-house roles.
• Oil & Gas / energy sector experience is essential.
• Fluent in English; Arabic and French are a plus.

Group Legal Counsel

Work Location: Dubai, UAE

Remuneration: Competitive

A well established, diversified energy group are seeking to appoint a Legal Counsel to be based in their Dubai office.

The role reports to their VP.

Must have requirements:

7-10 years PQE in law having worked for both a magic circle law firm and in-house experience.

Oil & Gas, energy sector experience is a must

Fluent in English is a must, with Arabic and French language fluency is an added advantage.

Education:

Law degree (LLB or equivalent) from a well recognised university

Master's degree (LL.M.) is advantageous
