Job summary

Mediclinic International is seeking a Learning and Development professional to support and guide the development of employee competence through facilitation and evaluation of training programmes. The role focuses on identifying learning needs, designing interventions, delivering trainings, and measuring impact in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Requires a relevant Bachelor's degree or diploma and a certificate in L&D or related studies.
• Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in facilitation of L&D activities/training in a formal setting.
• Desirable 3+ years in healthcare environment and 1+ year with an electronic health record system.

Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To support and guide the development of employee competence through the facilitation and evaluation of various learning and development programmes

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Identify and assess the learning and development needs of employees
• Design and develop learning and development interventions that effectively address learning needs
• Deliver planned training and development activities in alignment with regulatory and organisational requirements
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development interventions
• Document and report learning outcomes, progress, and impact of development initiatives

REQUIRED EDUCATION

A relevant Bachelor’s degree or diploma

Certification in Learning and Development or related studies is desired

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in facilitation of learning and development activities/training in a formal setting

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a healthcare environment

Minimum 1 years’ experience in using an electronic health record system

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Create learning support material, including training manuals
• E-learning content authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Moodle, etc.)
• Evaluation of learning effectiveness using the Kirkpatrick's Evaluation Model
• Instructional design principles
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
• Hospital and Clinic operations
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
• Effective teaching and learning (pedagogical) practices
• Video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premier Pro)
