Job summary

NCR Atleos in Dubai seeks a Learning Senior Instructor to design and deliver instructor-led and online training programs for our financial services teams. You will translate business needs into effective curricula, deliver sessions, and partner with Learning Delivery Manager to improve program effectiveness.

Required are strong English and Arabic communication skills, experience in adult education, and familiarity with multiple delivery formats.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree or 3–5 years in learning/education or ATM technician field.
• Strong English and Arabic verbal and written communication.
• Excellent public speaking or presentation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience in a matrix-managed organization.

Responsibilities

• Convey knowledge using classroom, lab, virtual instructor-led and online methods.
• Maintain facilities and materials for classes.
• Update and maintain course content using available knowledge and analytics.
• Deliver using virtual classrooms, web conferencing, forums, blogs, and wikis.
• Execute classroom delivery according to the published training schedule.
• Collaborate with Learning Senior Specialist and Learning Business Partner to measure program effectiveness.

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Regional Learning Delivery Manager the Learning Senior Instructor utilizes their knowledge of NCR Atleos business and products and their expertise in adult education techniques to implement and deliver learning curriculum for their prescribed audience. He/She work closely with the Learning Delivery Manager Learning Senior Specialist and the Learning Business Partner to understand the business requirements and the skill sets requiring enhancement. The Learning Senior Instructor facilitates and delivers a comprehensive learning program or event that enhances an associates knowledge/skill and improves the overall effectiveness of the business unit/organization. Although important the design and development are secondary in this role to the delivery and instruction.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Convey knowledge and skills using classroom lab virtual instructor‑led and online methods of instruction


• Maintain classroom facilities and equipment and ensure learning materials necessary for the class are available


• Use existing knowledge combined with analytical skills to update and maintain course content


• Use a variety of delivery techniques leveraging formal and informal delivery tools such as virtual classrooms web conferencing discussion forums blogs and wikis


• Execute classroom delivery according to the published training schedule.


• Work with the Learning Senior Specialist & Learning Business Partner to measure learning program effectiveness and identify areas of improvement


• Understand the competitive marketplace and stay current with the benchmarks/best practices that exist within the Learning community.


• Use continuous improvement processes and tools to improve Services Learning processes to increase the value‑add provided to our customers

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM)

• Associates Degree in Education or a related technical discipline OR 3-5 years of experience working in Learning or Education‑related discipline or field experience as an ATM technician.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Arabic. Any additional languages will be an added advantage.


• Strong (demonstrated) public speaking or presentation skills


• Proficiency in MS Office products


• Experienced with working in a matrix‑managed organization

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in education or a related technical discipline OR 5-7 years of experience working in Learning or Education‑related discipline or field experience as an ATM technician


• Proven ability to work within a team environment juggle multiple projects and adapt to frequent change


• Ability to build rapport with internal and external customers


• Training or practical experience in academic tests and measurements


• Ability to visualize and verbalize technical concepts in understandable terms and be instructionally savvy to create and deliver clear and effective instructional content


• Proven ability to learn quickly and work independently


• Experience with ATMs (i.e. NCR Diebold Wincor)


• Experience with networking products (i.e. Cisco routers/switches)
