Job summary

Azizi Developments in Dubai seeks an experienced QA/QC Inspector specializing in waterproofing works to join the Construction Supervision team. You will inspect, monitor, and verify waterproofing installations across residential, commercial, and high-rise projects, ensuring compliance with project specs and UAE standards.

Applicants should have eight years of QA/QC experience, including hands-on waterproofing inspection. Previous consulting or supervision firm experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum eight years QA/QC experience with waterproofing.
• Experience in UAE construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor waterproofing installations across assigned building construction projects.
• Conduct quality inspections of substructure and basement waterproofing systems, including membranes, tanking systems, and protection boards.
• Inspect waterproofing works in bathrooms, kitchens, balconies, plant rooms, and other wet areas.
• Monitor waterproofing applications on roofs, podiums, terraces, and other applicable building elements.
• Verify that installation activities follow approved specifications, construction drawings, and manufacturer requirements.
• Identify defective workmanship or installation practices that could affect waterproofing performance.
• Support the delivery of durable waterproofing systems designed to prevent water ingress.
• Review waterproofing method statements, material submittals, shop drawings, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Verify that proposed waterproofing systems comply with approved project requirements.
• Review technical documentation associated with waterproofing materials and installation procedures.
• Check that approved materials and installation details are followed during construction.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and supporting quality documentation.
• Support compliance with established project quality assurance and quality control procedures.
