Job summary

New Texas Specialized Building Systems in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Civil Engineer for a full-time on-site role. You will collaborate with the site team on construction and waterproofing works, overseeing site activities and ensuring quality documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, can read drawings, and is proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office. English fluency is required, Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Currently in Abu Dhabi and available to join ASAP.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Strong spoken and written English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction and waterproofing works on site.
• Carry out site inspections and quality checks (QA/QC).
• Check drawings and specifications; prepare shop drawings in AutoCAD.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, measurements and progress reports.
• Prepare material submittals, inspection requests and daily site reports.
• Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors and suppliers on site.
• Follow HSE rules and site safety procedures.
