Job summary

Zutari in Dubai is seeking a highly experienced Principal Transport Planning and Mobility Engineer to lead and deliver complex multi-modal transport projects across the GCC. The role requires technical excellence, strategic thinking and strong client engagement.

You will oversee project teams, manage timelines and budgets, develop transport models, mobility strategies and masterplans, and contribute to policy and smart city initiatives while mentoring engineers and supporting business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering or Urban Planning.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and contribute to strategic planning and urban mobility initiatives.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and report-writing skills.
• Responsive to regulatory frameworks and working with government authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of multi-modal transport and mobility projects.
• Manage project teams timelines and budgets across planning stages.
• Develop and review transport models mobility strategies masterplans and impact assessments.
• Provide technical input on transport policy, active mobility, TOD and smart city initiatives.
• Engage with government authorities, clients and key stakeholders for alignment with regulations.
• Mentor junior engineers and support business development efforts.
• Prepare and present high-quality reports, proposals and presentations.
